Moroso 89560 Tire Pressure Gauge, Dial Type, 0-60 psi

Unlike other tire pressure gauges, the Moroso makes an excellent air tight seal with the valve stem. There is no leakage of air giving you confidence that you are getting an accurate reading. I highly recommend this item.

Accutire MS-4035GB  3-Piece Auto Safety Kit

I bought this kit thinking the digital tire gauge would be great. I guess it would be great IF I could actually read it when it was on the tire. I can never seem to position it so I can see the readout. The pliers and flashlight are useful, but I already had those. The bottom line is that I am disappointed with this purchase.

INT-360109 Intercomp Tire Tread Depth Gauge

It's exactly how it looks in the picture. It feels very sturdy, but the plastic covering over the face of the tool looks a little thin. It might crack or shatter if one drops it and it lands face first onto a hard floor. It's accurate and clear in showing the tire tread depth and that's how I like. The color coded bars are nice as you can tell right away how dangerously low the tire tread depth is.

Michelin MN-12279 Digital Programmable Tire Gauge

The basic functions of the unit are good. It reads tire pressure accurately to 1/10ths of a pound which is much more accurate and better than most standard pressure gauges. However its programmable functions are unnecessarily complicated and its too easy to change key settings during normal pressure checks which is a huge flaw. You should not be able to, while checking tire pressure, to be able to accidentally change between PSI and BAR readings. Which is exactly what happened to me the second time I used the unit. This basically rendered the unit useless and without the instructions at hand there was no comprehensible labeling or buttons on the unit to change back. In retrospect I would have purchased one of the more accurate clock type pressure gauges instead of this digital model because of its ridiculous complexity and inscrutable interface. I cannot recommend this unit you shouldnt have to read 10 pages of small type to use the basic functions of a tire pressure gauge, digital or not.

Central Tools 3S401 Digital Tire Tread Depth Gage

High quality & very easy to read. Should have bought one of these sooner! Checking your tire tread depth is important enough. If you drive a FWD or 4WD vehicle, it is more critical. FWD vehicles hammer front tires. Use the gauge to spot wear trends & then rotate them front to back for max tire life. 4WD vehicles tend to wear front tires also, the difference with 4WD is you can get all sorts of weirdness from tires that are a different diameter through the center differential. Check often, rotate often.

Longacre Economy Digital Tire Pressure Gauge

Fortunately I did not buy this for regular use but as a master to check my other tire gauge against. I find it is very difficult to get the chuck placed onto the valve stem without releasing some air. No matter how carefully I attempt to position it prior to pressing down, there is always some fiddling required during which air escapes. Also it does take a significant amount of force to get it seated properly. By comparison, my Power Tank gauge and tire filler is very easy to attach to the valve stem. (It measure within one psi of this gauge so I assume it is accurate, too.) Power Tank TIG-8200 Heavy Duty Tire InflatorHaving said all above, it does appear to be a very accurate gauge measuring in half pound intervals. So it serves its purpose as a "once in a while" check gauge but I would not recommend it for frequent use.

Accutire MS-5510B Racing Tire Gauge

I like this gauge. For the price, it is efficient and accurate. Yes the hose is a bit stiff, but hardly more than a minor annoyance. As for any leaks, I have had none (so far). The fitting over the tire valve stem seems just fine to me. Just get it on snugly; grips the stem just fine. I also simply bleed the pressure out of the gauge between readings and all is good to go for the next reading, so not sure what others here are talking about when they say they need to press the recall button. I only use that for calibration. In addition, I do not understand what one other reviewer was referring to when having to wait 10 seconds between reads... As I bleed, sure, the pressure reading is not accurate, but once you stop the bleeding while using the bleed valve, the current pressure is immediately updated for me...Overall, definitely recommended, at least for now. If that changes, I'll be sure to update here.December 7, 2010 UPDATE: 3 years later, this is still working flawlessly! No leaks, battery still good.May 6, 2012 UPDATE: Still working great; almost 5 years owning it. I did have to replace the batteries in late 2011.

Longacre 50560 TIRE TREAD DEPTH GAUGE

I ordered this tread depth gauge because of the face and pouch, Both are not as shown. The face is a hard to read checkered flag and the pouch is a cheap cloth bag.I paid a premium price for the gage and shipping and did not get what is pictured.

Fowler (FOW74225500) X-Tread Digital Tire Gage

There is no question that this product performs perfectly but can be better in certain areas.I have no faults with this product because it does perform more precise than most consumers need it to be. This gauge measures down to .001mm which is much more than an average everyday consumer will need when calibrated properly. The unit does have a 'zero' out function so that you can zero out the tool. nice little feature. My only whine is that the product does feel a bit cheap, being made entirely out of plastic. Although it is only ~$15 bucks I wouldn't have mind spending a few bucks more to have a metal one. This is in no way the products fault, so yes I would recommend this to a friend. Also, it comes with a protective case AND an extra watch battery.
