I purchased these for my Town & Country minivan because I wanted better brakes when pulling my double-waverunner trailer. I put them on both front and rear. I got what I was looking for! There were times with the stock pads that I just didn't know if I was going to be able to stop in time .... when I would end up 2 or 3 feet past the line at a stoplight that had changed quickly, or way too close to the vehicle in front of me. That problem is gone. When I apply the brakes, now, they grab and hold and I have no doubts that my stopping ability is assured. They have made a world of difference in my confidence when pulling that trailer. They do generate more brake dust than the stock pads, but that is a small price to pay for the added safety they offer.

Not happy at all. I was expecting higher quality for the price I paid. One of the spring wires fell off and was very poorly designed. Basically the wire was fitted around a rivet and peened over, problem was not enought metal was peened over. I had to go the NAPA and get brakes because I already had my tire off and old brakes removed when I found out they were defective. Returned them alright though. Bad design. They need to rethink and redesign those wires.

This is my second vehicle that I have used these pads on. They perform just as advertised if not better. No squeal. No brake dust. The fit was perfect. The break-in was a snap.The best part to me was the increased braking power. My truck stops much easier with much less pressure on the brake pedal. I would recommend these to anyone.

This product installed easily and produced great results compared to OEM pads. They were much less expensive and seem to provide more stopping power (not tested officially). There is much less brake dust than OEM and no squeeling in cold weather. They seem to be a great balance between performance and daily driver needs.

I put these pads on my 03 WRX and they are a big Improvement over the factory pads. They definitely have more stopping power now I barely have to touch the pedal to feel a response when braking. They work as advertised for sure. If u are worried about noise do what I did and buy permatex disc brake quiet it's a blue spray that is very tacky and goes onto the back of the pads do not put it on the linings and u shouldn't have a noise problem. bottom line is if u want a cheap way to improve your braking this is it

Overall the quality is good no noise whatsoever. They do produce as much dust as the stock pads did. I personally would spend a little more money and get a better quality pad.

These aren't ceramic pads.....Hawk makes some but these aren't them. Think they come in a yellow box. Change your description Amazon. By the way, Don't have it yet, how can I rate it.

I have used these on 2 Corvettes for street/autox/track. They stop great cold/hot, make a lot of dust, wear rotors, no squeal on my cars.If you want low dust, rotor friendly do NOT buy these. If you want higher performance than oem, these will do the job.:)

If you are buying these brakes, you probably know what you're buying already. These are a great autox pad and a track pad for lighter cars. They are noisy so not great on the street, but make do they have great stopping power.NOTE: For our specific VW application (MKIV GTI), Hawk had the wrong part number specified. As long as you get the right pads, you're good to go!

I'm using this brake pad on another vehicle so should have good luck on my F350. What does upset me is that for ~94 dollars for these premium priced brakes, they don't include the required "Brake Installation Kit". This is a set of anti rattle clips and slide pin boots that are absolutely needed. Other national brands like Wagner and Raybestos supply these pieces. Read your fine print - like I should have done. Ten bucks more at NAPA and now I have all of the pieces.

I bought these pads as replacements for the stock pads on my 2012 Mustang Boss 302 prior to a track day. (I bought fronts and rears)Performance on the pads is pretty good - they have a noticeably higher coefficient of friction (especially when warmed up) than the stock pads, without sacrificing cold braking performance much.I did have a fair amount of fade during my track day - possibly due to insufficient bedding. The fade did get better during the day, but I never felt very confident with the brake feel on the car (which otherwise performed great on the track). Admittedly the car is very heavy, and I haven't yet installed brake ducts, so any pad is likely to be challenged.Note that I did replace the brake fluid as well (with ATE Super Blue fluid), so feel issues were not likely to have come from brake fluid boiling.Once driven at the track, the pads have also developed a very pronounced squeal when applied under 35 mph. I can put up with it, but some might find this annoying.I'm likely to switch to dedicated track pads once I get through this set - I'll save the stock pads for the street.

These pads, once they've been bedded in (which takes around 1K miles), do a very good job. I used these on both the front and rear of my '95 BMW 740i, and I'm quite happy with the performance. I replaced the rotors with cheap Centric non-drilled non-slotted rotors, and they still work very well with my "enthusiastic" driving. They seem to be creating a lot of dust, but I've only used them for a couple thousand miles so far; that could be a result of the bedding process. Never the less, I've used EBC Green Stuff on other large cars (such as my Grand Marquis and Tahoe) recently, but will probably be switching to Hawk pads next time I need to replace my pads on those cars.The one star deducted is for the relatively high (but not unreasonable) initial amount of dust. I'll post a follow-up later on if I remember.

This is the second set of Hawk Performance SuperDuty pads on our Suburban. The braking ability of this pads are significantly better and they have lasted longer than anything I have used previously. They stop the Suburban confidently, which was not always the case before. The first set I had were at times a bit noisy, but not in a bothersome way. This second set has been very quiet. The brake dust is not excessive. These are great pads. I use them on cyrotreated rotors, and am very pleased with this combination.
