My husband picked this up at Kmart for $50. I read the reviews online and was hesitant about keeping it. Our 4-yr old has now had the wing pack for a month & it's still working fine, and he is still loving it. We told him to lower the wings when he goes thru doorways so that he doesn't take a wing off, and he has fun lowering them & putting them back up, all with the push of a button. He wore them trick or treating and ran into a couple kids with them, but they still held up.

Yes, the intel 320 is getting long in the tooth. It is still a good drive, especially if you are concerned with power draw. I am packing this as an external USB drive, which means the power consumption is vital. Fortunately, even at 300GB the max power draw is about 3W. For a large 300GB drive, this is great (rule of thumb: the larger the SSD and the faster the performance, the greater the power draw).Another plus from using Intel drives is their quality assurance. This drive was not rushed to market as other manufacturers tend to do (for reference, the intel 520 underwent 18 months or so of testing prior to being released). Suffice it to say, this is a very good drive even if it isn't the bleeding edge fastest drive available. No matter what, it will be drastically faster than a drive with a rotating platter.
