Motor oil is made from crude oil and is used to lubricate, clean, and cool engines. Types of motor oil include conventional, synthetic, diesel, bio-based, hybrid (blends of conventional and synthetic), and recycled oils. Motor oil varies in weight and viscosity, as well as additives that some manufacturers add to the oil during the refining process. A numerical code system created by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) grades motor oils according to viscosity--the higher the number between 0 and 60, the more viscous (thicker) the oil is. Most consumer motor oils are graded by two numbers, with the first number indicating cold weather (Winter or "W") performance.SAE 5W-30 This oil has a weight of SAE 5W-30, meaning it has an SAE viscosity rating of 5 in cold temperatures and a rating of 30 at normal operating temperature. Always check your vehicle's owner's manual to verify that this is the correct weight of motor oil for your vehicle.Conventional Motor Oil This oil is a…
Hard to find, but worth it.I always run 7,000-15,000 miles between oil changes. Motor has 80K using this oil. Still runs like new.

I got the synthetic blend Maxlife in walmart because I needed it right away but it's a good buy on Amazon, where I usually shop for such items. I assume the results for the full synthetic would be similar to that for the synthetic blend. I used this in an '03 Cadillac DeVille DTS that was burning a quart about every 500 miles and this was causing a problem loading up the catalytic converter and turning on the check engine light. These cars, with the Northstar V8 engine, are known for relatively high oil consumption but this one was really bad. I had heard of others having good results reducing consumption with this oil so I thought I'd give it a try. Well, in the 500 or so miles since doing an oil change it doesn't seem to have burned any oil! This is nothing short of miraculous. I don't know if you'll get the same results in your vehicle but it may be worth trying. Really amazing.

G Oil is a ultimate biodegradable product that meets all of the requirements of the API-SM and previous API gasoline engine standards. The first and only bio-based motor oil SM approved and API licensed in the world.
Two weeks ago I ordered the 5w-30 G-Oil from Amazon.com It shipped that night and I received it within three days after I ordered. I drained the old oil out of my Cub Cadet snow blower. The engine is a 10hp Tecumseh Snow King. I added the G-Oil and I was able to pull start in two pulls. I ran the motor for ten minutes and shut it down. The next morning I expected to have to use my snow blower. We got two days of snowfall here in Minnesota and a total of 6 inches with deep snowdrifts. I was able to run my snow blower for both days and I was able to do my three neighbors driveways and the sidewalks up and down the street I live on. I was very impressed that I did not need to use the electric starter. I again was able to pull start on the second pull. The engine seemed to run better with G-Oil than in the past with standard oil. I was able to power through the high snow piles left by the city snowplows with great ease. I did not have any rough idle or smoke from exhaust. I was totally blown away by how well this G-Oil works. My neighbor was not totally convinced so he asked me to pull the spark plug so he could see it. He then became convinced that this G-Oil was working perfectly. G-Oil exceeded my expectations and now I am a believer of this product. I will be ordering more for my other gas engines now that I have seen it with my own eyes.

A premium-quality, synthetic-blend engine oil designed to provide enhanced protection for passenger cars, light trucks and SUVs operating under all driving conditions. Engineered with exclusive liquid titanium additive technology for extra protection against engine wear and friction. Enhanced performance compared with conventional engine oils. Excellent resistance to viscosity and thermal breakdown at high temperatures as well as improved low-temperature pumpability for protection during cold starts. Provides excellent wear protection and protection against engine sludge and varnish formation. Low volatility for reduced oil consumption and energy conserving for improved fuel economy.
Due to a loose bottle cap, oil had already spilled about 200ml when the package arrives. The cap seems loose from manufacturers factory, because there is no traces that manufacturer's original package is opened during transport.Oil itself is good.

I've used Valvoline SynPower SAE 5W40 in my 2006 Jetta TDI from 50,000 to 70,000 miles. I think it's a great oil that holds up as good, if not better than, Castrol SLX or Pentosin. I'm not tearing the wheels off my car, but I have a two hour commute to work and I average about 75 to 80 MPH on the highway. The price is good also!

The average age of a car on the road is 9.1 years. The automatic transmission fluids in high mileage vehicles can suffer from permanent viscosity loss and degradation in flowability. This out-of-spec transmission fluid can cause problems in the transmission such as wear, clunking, erratic or prolonged shifting, loss of torque, higher operating temperatures and automatic transmission fluid leaks. Most transmission treatments are added to try to fix a problem in a high mileage vehicle. Slick 50(R) High Mileage Automatic Transmission Treatment is formulated to help cure the problems and to prevent them from reoccurring. The shear stable additive in Slick 50(R) High Mileage Automatic Transmission Treatment increases the viscosity of the transmission fluid back to the OEM spec and adds back vital compounds that are depleted over time. The restored transmission fluid will help improve shifting, protect against friction and heat, reduce leaking and maintain low temperature flowability. Slick…
This is like gold in a bottle. I put this in my 1995 Explorer with 178,000 miles and it now shifts perfectly. My transmission used to clunk, shift erratic, and made tons of noise on the road. This product far exceeded my expectations. I can hear it shift real nicely now. My Explorer used to embarass me when I had clients in it and the transmission would clunk real bad sometimes. I am sold for life on Slick 50!
